Today's Plans
A pancake breakfast with eggs on top, because I surely do need the extra protein now;
Climbing a step ladder to see what's wrong with my foyer light before I call my favorite electrician;
A trip to Lowes for poison to kill the annoying mole(s) that has been willfully digging up my yard whilst managing to avoid the spear trap;
A trip to Walmart to pick up a few little craft supplies;
A garden party picnic lunch and the making of bee mobiles in honor of St. Rita, whose feast was yesterday, but I'm always late on these things;
Taking down the Christmas lights strung around the kitchen (Shush.);
Cleaning off the counters and mopping the floor in the same kitchen;
Reading two chapters of Dr. Doolittle to the wee ones;
Two loads of laundry and the diapers;
And movie night!

I've only had two, but neither were early. I had high hopes for this one, but based on your experience perhaps I should just resign myself to late ones.
It sure would be nice in July to have a little less time hauling around this extra weight, though!
By the way, congratulations! I was also going to vote for the two pies myself, though I think that plan is even better if you can convince someone else to make the pies once in a while.
Be careful on that stepladder - you don't want to fall!!

Moles in the yard can mean termites in your house. Call an exterminator.
Hi, Christine! While moles do eat termites, I can't find any evidence that they are indicative of termites, as they eat a great many other insects that are known to reside in our yard, too. Our home is regularly inspected for termite damage, though, and we have insurance against such damage. Thanks!
